May Bev I’s memory always be a blessing
Bev was an original; an uncontainable, outspoken lover of freedomand justice.
Lets us dance her out into the cosmos.
What is remembered, lives.
always there for palestine48 she was! peace be upon her and free, free palestine!
She was always so kind, and so present.
There’s been a GoFundMe established for her burial arrangements.

Hip Hop, the bunny, was sadly stolen from her at some event, some years back, presumably to ‘rescue’ him from her, which likely shortened his life, because he had medical problems only Bev-I was aware of and was treating him for.
I hung out with her at Banner Drop (for Palestine) over the overpass just a few weeks ago! Like basically just the other day! She was talking about the Long Haul and people who were absent, as ironic as that now seems.
There’s a nice foto of Bev-I on page 103 in the People’s Park Still Blooming book…
Such a bright, spirited, committed, free and beautiful being. Awh…
Viva Bev-I!
This is very sad news to hear.. I spoke to her briefly last at a City Council meeting and we chatted at Camp Palestine a few times during Cal encampment in Stephen Biko Plaza. May her sweet spirit be remembered and honored – I always enjoyed seeing her pink or purple hair, her bunny rabbit and her kind smile out in People’s Park and at protests.
i liked and loved bevi quite a bit. knew her from people’s park, berkeley copwatch, palestine demonstations( she was a jewish person who hated zionists with a passion), black lives matter, oscar grant demos, all over the place. she was so peaceful and grounded at demonstrations the police always arrested, beat, manhandled her and her buddy eric liebler. she was special in many, many ways. peace be upon her and us all.
